Founder & Director
Alex is a founding partner of CWP. He has developed over 3,000MW of wind energy projects in Europe and Australia since 2003.
His involvement covers all stages of project development including screening, land leasing, grid negotiations, permitting, gathering wind data, procurement of turbines and construction.
During the last 20 years, Alex has been engaged solely in the development, financing and management of infrastructure projects and the acquisition and management of utility companies. Prior to CWP he worked with United Utilities and Bechtel Enterprises, developing BOT and concession projects in the water and wastewater sectors.
Dimitar graduated from Swarthmore College (USA) and the London School of Economics and has over 12 years of experience investing in renewable energy.
Dimitar started his career at Postscriptum Ventures, a London-based private equity fund focused on sustainability investments. At PostScriptum, Dimitar was involved in various investments in the PV, biomass and wind sectors, including the largest biomass power project in the world and the founding of CWP. In 2009 he joined CWP full-time, where he eventually served as Director, and was involved in the successful development and financing of a number of large-scale wind farms including the largest wind farm in Europe – the €1.1billion Fantanele project. Currently Dimitar is a Managing Partner at PostScriptum Ventures and serves as a Board Member of CWP.
Chief Operating Officer, Australia
Ed has close to two decades of experience in the renewable energy and major projects/infrastructure sector; identifying, screening and developing complex projects through to financial close, delivery and operation. Recent projects with CWP Renewables include the 113MW Boco Rock Wind Farm, 270MW Sapphire Wind Farm, 135MW Crudine Ridge Wind Farm and the 240MW Bango Wind Farm.
Ed established and currently manages the CWP Renewables development team overseeing a growing (and ever changing) portfolio of wind, solar and storage developments, principally in NSW.
Before joining CWP Renewables, Ed worked for Wind Prospect and consulting group Atkins focussing on behind the meter on-site generation. Among other projects, Ed initiated the Solutia Chemicals development in Newport, Wales; a 4 MW (two wind turbine generator) project, which was ultimately commissioned in 2012.
Ed grew up in the UK, and has had stints in New Zealand while studying, and is now happily based in Newcastle, New South Wales, which is the base for the company’s Australian development team.
Founder & Director
Fabrizio is a tax and corporate adviser based in the Principality of Monaco with fifteen years of experience in company management, sitting as a director on the boards of international companies active in diverse industries. He has managed his own firm since 1992 and was a founding partner of CWP where he is now responsible for managing financial aspects of the business and for dealing with tax, legal and compliance issues.
Chief Executive Officer, Australia
Jason is a senior infrastructure finance executive with more than twenty years of project finance debt and equity experience in renewable energy and infrastructure sectors in Australia, PNG, Spain and Asia, with a particular focus on large scale wind and solar projects.
Prior to CWP, Jason spent 12 years as Managing Director of General Electric’s energy investment group as well as working for German and Japanese investment banks.
Maja was a pioneer of the wind energy industry development in Serbia, as a co-owner and director of the first large-scale wind project in Serbia, as well as through her engagement in the Serbian Wind Energy Association.
She brings over twenty years of invaluable and multi-angled experience in renewable energy sector, covering wide range of different roles and engagements: from Power Utility restructuring, to RES policy making and RES project development. Some of her notable engagements include being an assistant minister for the power sector, in the Ministry of Energy, Government of Serbia, where she was responsible for allocation of grants for the power sector, oversaw the restructuring and unbundling of the Power Utility of Serbia, managed a project of establishing of the Energy Regulatory Authority and conducted bilateral negotiations on Structure Adjustment Credit with the World Bank. Through Serbian Wind Energy Association, she also helped drafting of RES laws and by-laws with regards to PPA bankability terms and FIT scheme.
Maja holds a Masters degree in Power Systems from the University of Belgrade‘s Faculty of Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Imperial College London Business School.
Maja gives back to community on a large scale by being actively involved in several non-profit institutions. She is empowering young people in Serbia through her Board presence in Pexim Foundation; She co-founded WISE SEE network (Women in Sustainable Energy) dedicated to empowering women in the industry. Finally, she is constantly working on innovative ways to decarbonize our planet through her active involvement in a regional network of independent energy transition think tanks SE3T.net.
Outside of work, Maja enjoys spending time with her large and noisy family, and hiking with her dog. She is an artsy person and never misses a good art exhibition; she loves sketching and painting and indulging herself in old book binding techniques.
Founder & Director
Mr. Mark Crandall co-founded Morgan Stanley’s commodity trading business in 1984. Subsequently he was the head of Glencore’s oil trading business, and then was a founder of Trafigura which has now become one of the largest physical commodity traders in the world with over €100 billion in revenues.
Upon leaving Trafigura in 2005, Mr. Crandall started investing his own personal funds in renewable energy development through PostScriptum Ventures.
In 2007 he officially formed CWP where he currently serves as the Chairman and Member of the Executive Board.
VP Business Development
Viktor has more than 15 years of experience in renewables, power trading and large scale energy infrastructure business. Prior to his current role, he headed the wind power sales and business development in 27 countries in Eastern Europe, Russia & CIS with Siemens Gamesa, and he held the position of country managing director for Croatia, BiH and Ukraine. Before that Viktor was sales director for the Balkans with Vestas Wind Systems. He holds a degree in engineering in industrial process control and a degree in economics & management of the energy sector. Viktor is a certified power trader on the EXAA spot market in Vienna, Austria and graduated from the Wind Power Technology academy in Aarhus, Denmark.

Alana joined CWP Renewables in April 2020 as an Environmental Officer. Her role involves working with project construction teams to minimise environmental impacts and achieve environmental compliance.
Most recently Alana worked as an Environmental Representative for road and bridge construction projects in Queanbeyan, NSW. Her past experience also includes environmental impacts assessment, biodiversity field surveys and environmental auditing.
Alana completed a Bachelor of Science at the Australian National University in Canberra, majoring in environmental and marine sciences.
Alana likes to spend time outdoors and amongst nature, including kayaking, hiking and playing social sports. She grew up on the NSW Sapphire Coast and enjoys getting back there and exploring the beaches during her time off.
Alex is a Senior Accountant within our finance team and is primarily responsible for the accounting and reporting requirements for our projects in operation.
Alex joined CWP after working the previous 7 years in a Canberra based business advisory and taxation firm, focusing on large family groups and large commercial entities.
Since joining CWP, Alex has enjoyed working for a dynamic and rapidly growing company that is driven to provide a difference to people and communities with the renewable energy resources it creates.
Outside of work Alex plays local Australian Football for Ainslie, and enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle with his partner Jemma and their two dogs.
Alex’s other hobbies include making (mostly unwanted) improvements around the house, surfing on the NSW South Coast, and more recently snowboarding after a holiday to Japan.
Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Canberra, a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting, and was admitted as a Chartered Accountant with the CAANZ in 2018.
Andrew Dickson is Development Manager for the Asian Renewable Energy Hub (www.asianrehub.com), a large wind/solar/hydrogen/ammonia project in northwest Australia. He has been a renewable energy project developer since 2004, working on wind, solar PV, solar thermal, microgrid and hydrogen projects in South Australia, Queensland, the ACT and Western Australia.
He has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Science and Technology Commercialisation from the University of Adelaide.
Outside of work, Andrew is passionate about sustainability in many forms: transport, housing, energy, water, food production and community sufficiency.
Asset Operations Analyst
Andrew, conducts and manages operations’ analytics for CWP. Building and maintaining management reporting dashboards and overseeing complex technical issue. He is the resident Python and Power BI guru, supporting improvements across the business through data analytics. He also provides advice on solar and storage development modelling and new technologies. He has a PhD in renewables and an electrical engineering degree. He has a deep understanding of renewable technologies, which he has garnered from his work at the ANU. He completed his PhD in 2010.In 2014 he was awarded and ARENA R&D project which looked at solar module design. He moved to CWP in 2017, to develop their analytical expertise. Outside of work, Andrew has two young sons, which he adores. He likes to spend his weekends playing with them, teaching them how to mountain bike ride and do BJJ rolls.
Head of Construction
Brendan Joined CWP Renewables in May 2018 and is responsible for managing the Project Management Office (PMO) and the coordination of all our assets during the construction and commissioning phases. In 2020 CWP will lead the way in Australia and will construct and commission 201MW of generated power across our two projects, and Brendan looks forward to leading the team in this exciting time.
Brendan is a professional engineer with extensive management experience both in the UK and Australia, and holds a PhD in Robotics. Brendan’s career has seen him look to the stars and collaborate with NASA on robotic arms, fly in fighter jets and walk through sewer mains. Having worked across various industries in both the public and private sector, Brendan is passionate about renewable energy and making CWP Renewables the leader in the industry.
Brendan enjoys to relax by playing the guitar and is learning piano and one day may look to re-join a rock band, like in his younger days.
David spent 15 years with Essential Energy as a substation technician in the New England and Mid North Coast regions of NSW. He followed this with the completion of an Electrical Engineering Degree. Over the past 5 years he has worked in WA on two of the largest global LNG projects for Chevron; the Barrow Island and Wheatstone projects.

David has worked in the electricity supply and construction industry for the last 30 years. During this time roles have varied from being involved with construction of minor projects such as new high voltage substation builds and upgrades and on greenfield and brownfield sites through to significant landmark high rise projects within the Sydney CBD. In more recent times he has been involved in two of the largest industrial projects worldwide. The first of these was the Chevron Gorgon LNG project on Barrow Island. His primary role on the project was coordinating within the permit to work system HV and LV testing for commissioning and start up. The second was the Chevron Wheatestone LNG project in WA in a similar role.
Prior to this Davids operational roles in the electrical supply industry have provided a solid foundation in asset management and maintenance.
David is currently working at CWPAM as a Facility Manager on the Sapphire Wind Farm in northern NSW. With his proven ability to meet targets and adhere to safety, quality and environmental requirements in line with policies and procedures. Sapphire Wind Farm is in good hands.
I am the Safety Manager based in Canberra. My role is to manage, develop and maintain safety management systems and programmes across the wider CWP Renewables Australian offices and operational and construction sites. A big part of the role is working closely with our contractors and partners to ensure that what we do is done safely.
I am originally from New Zealand and have lived in Australia for 8 years. I have a mechanical engineering trade background and have spent the past 10 years in the electricity supply industry in safety management roles. I have studied politics and public policy and have postgraduate qualifications in safety management. I live with my partner of 20 years Debbie and have two teenage sons who drive me crazy.
I am an avid supporter of the Wellington Hurricanes super rugby team and of course the mighty All Blacks (being a New Zealander). I enjoy getting away with the family, camping, long walks with my partner Debbie and our highly energetic Kelpie dog Diesel. I am a member of the Southern Act Bush Fire Brigade and am currently finishing a master’s degree in occupational safety and health.
Derralyn started with CWP Renewables in February 2018 in the role of HR/Admin Assistant based in the South Australian office.
Having come from an administration & customer focussed background and very new to the Renewable Energy sector the Human Resource area was an exciting opportunity. CWP have been a great support in allowing Derralyn to study towards a Diploma in Human Resources.
In her spare time Derralyn enjoys spending time on their farm with her family and animals and growing fresh produce.
Frances joined CWP in 2019, as a Project Administrator within the Project Management Office. As part of her role, Frances is assisting in the development and implementation of administration systems, including the document management process, risk & issue management processes and report production for Senior Management, Project Boards and Project Teams. Frances’ previous experience includes work on the Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre, Canberra Light Rail, the Peninsula Link Project and Victorian Desalination Project in Melbourne, and the London Connect Project in the UK. She is recognised for her knowledge and experience in tender coordination and document control. Frances’ hobbies include music, sport, art, and history
After achieving a bachelor degree in China, Ivy came to Australia for her further studies in accounting and got her master degree from ANU in 2017. Subsequently, she started her internship as an all-rounder in administration and finance in an Australian non-profit institution. Currently, Ivy has been a CPA candidate and is preparing her advanced CPA exams.
Ivy joined CWP as an assistant accountant in April 2019 with a passion to join a company striving to protect the earth and having a deeper meaning to society. In the financial team, except for focusing on routine financial process related to developing, constructing, and operating projects, she also provides support to other team members.
In her spare time, Ivy likes to listening to music, travelling and cooking.
Business Development Manager
Jeff Allen is the Business Development Manager for FE Storage, a sister company to CWP Renewables. He is responsible for delivering on the ACT battery storage investment’s, derived from CWP Renewables Sapphire Wind Farm Project.
Jeff has over a decades experience in managing retail and has supported developing solar businesses during these years, both in Melbourne and Canberra. His work in solar and energy storage has built his strong technical and applied understanding of renewable projects across domestic and commercial solutions.
He is passionate about delivering innovative renewable projects that provide strong financial and sustainability benefits to his clients.
Jessica is a Development Officer in the Development team based in Newcastle and supports a range of development activities including GIS and mapping, prospecting, communications and website development, environment and planning applications and community engagement across CWP’s wind and solar development projects. Jessica has been working closely on the planning and development of the Uungula Wind Farm and Boco Rock Wind Farm.
Jessica started her career in architecture and urban planning and has worked on a variety of projects from retail, residential and hospital developments. After completing a Masters of International Urban and Environmental Management at RMIT, Jessica worked at Social Pinpoint, a digital community engagement platform providing interactive tools for organisations to engage with their communities and stakeholders.
Jessica is passionate about renewable energy and how it can help shape a more resilient and sustainable future. Outside of work, Jessica loves to travel and explore the outdoors skiing, hiking, rock climbing and scuba diving.
Project Controls Manager
Joel joined CWP as the Project Controls Manager in 2019, and oversees the Risk, Schedule, Issue, and Change Management functions for the Asset Management group.
Joel’s career in Project Controls began in 2007 with scheduling on Rail Projects for transport for London. Since then, Joel has worked throughout multiple industries including Oil & Gas, Mining, IT, and Infrastructure delivery.
Jonathan is currently the Project Manager for the Bango Wind Farm and has been with CWP Renewables since 2018.
He has spent the last ten years working on some of Australia’s largest infrastructure projects across power generation, electrical and instrumentation and communications in Western Australia and New South Wales.
He studied Project and Construction Management at the University of Canberra, undertaking several commercial construction projects before moving into industrial and infrastructure projects.
Away from work he enjoys spending time outside, particularly snow sports, skydiving, hiking and fly fishing.
Head of Operations
Dual Australian and Spanish citizen, José has acquired strong general management skills and experiences in the Renewable Energy Sector over the past 10 years. This was achieved by managing multi-million dollar Assets and Business Units withing RWE Innogy & Neoen Australia.
José managed Asset’s Operations involving Wind, Solar and Storage technologies with a total combined capacity of just under 1GW. His other core challenges managed under various electricity markets (Australian & Spanish) was the set-up and operations of two (2) Operations Control Centres.
José is a Chemical Engineer with a two-year post-graduate degree in Renewable Energy (specialized in Wind) from University of La Laguna (Tenerife, Spain). In his spare time, José plays football with his three year old twin boys, follows “La Liga” & “UEFA Champions League” with them and is an avid supporter of Real Madrid.
Keith is the Financial Controller of the Australian business of CWP Renewables, having joined the Company in 2010 during its formative days ahead of the merger of the Wind Prospect and CWP operations. Trained as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa, Keith served Articles with the firm now known as BDO and after being seconded to a financial institution for a year, spent the next two decades in senior managerial positions with an international freight company and an international tyre products manufacturer and distributor, before heading to Australia in 2008.
Keith now lives in Victor Harbor south of Adelaide with his wife. Spare time is taken up with reading, the occasional round of golf, a spot of fly-fishing accompanied by a good bottle of wine if circumstances permit, and supervised gardening.
Kristy recognised her passion for renewable energy while studying mechanical engineering at Melbourne University. She accepted a graduate position as a wind analyst for a wind energy consulting firm in 2002, when the Australian wind industry was in its infancy. Through this work, she gained an excellent understanding of the technical requirements of developing and building a wind farm. Although the wind industry has matured and wind turbines have grown in size and capacity, the principles of wind farm development have not changed.
Kristy worked in local government for a number of years, addressing issues related to the community’s increasing demand on resources. She also has experience as an educator both for a software company in the Middle East and as a high school maths teacher in Australia. Returning to the renewable energy industry, Kristy spent six months pricing wind farm balance of plant construction projects and gaining more experience in the practicalities of building roads, laying high voltage cables, installing substations and the transportation and installation of wind turbine components.
Kristy joined the Development team at CWP Renewables in 2016 as Development Manager for the Bango Wind Farm, and she is now using her breadth of industry knowledge and her problem solving and communication skills to help bring CWP Renewables’ projects from concept to fruition.
Kristy loves surfing, running in the bush and discovering new favourite songs. Her daughters are her greatest achievement in life so far, followed closely by helping Bango Wind Farm reach financial close. She sees herself as a “people person” with a dream to see renewable energy replace fossil fuel sourced energy in her lifetime.
Community Engagement (BWF)
Spent more than 45 years working in Community Development roles for a number of organisations in NSW, South Australia, Queensland, Tasmania and the ACT. This includes working in the southern parts of the ACT and driving 127kms each way to and from work.
Have run own small businesses in Gilgandra, Mudgee, Grafton and Boorowa NSW.
Commenced an MBA through the University of Tasmania, while on King Island (Tasmania) and completed it in Deniliquin (NSW) at age 60.
Joined CWP at the start of October 2019 as Community Engagement Officer for the Bango Wind Farm and have learned heaps about renewables since then!
A mother of four adults, grandmother of fourteen and great-grandmother of one (so far), loves spending time with family individually and collectively.
Currently completing renovations on old cottage, also enjoys walking two King Charles Spaniel dogs, getting out into the garden, reading and a range of hobbies.
Site Representative (BWF)
Involved with Industrial Construction for the past 40 years, on Power Stations (Coal / Gas / Renewables), Coal Handling, Smelters, Electrical Substations, Water Treatment. The past 6 years have been involved with Windfarm Construction in NSW and Victoria.
Joined CWP in March 2017 as Civil & Electrical Superintendent to oversee Construction Activities on the Sapphire Windfarm which was successfully completed in 2018. Current role, Site Representative on the Bango Windfarm, currently scheduled for Completion in 2020.
Away from work enjoy time with Family, Friends and the occasional game of golf as time permits.
In April 2013 Marlene began work with CWP Renewables as an Office Assistant to the Office Manager. In 2014 she became the Development Administrator supporting the Development team with any administrative requirements and managing office tasks.
Marlene did not know anything about Wind Farms prior to working with CWP and in her seven years with the company has learnt a great deal about how they benefit the environment and the local communities, the process of construction and operation from the time of conception and the value of quality community relations. “It has been an interesting and valuable experience for me and one that I feel blessed to be a part of. The CWP team have been extremely supportive and encouraging.”
In her spare time, she enjoys ‘date nights’ with her husband and spending quality time with her three teenagers. She also enjoys sewing, knitting, crocheting, reading, baking, and bringing her baked goodies into the office!
Matthew is a Development Manager based in CWP’s Newcastle office with over thirteen years’ experience in project management, environmental impact assessment and approvals. He has experience with developing multiple wind and solar farm sites throughout NSW. Matthew’s focus is environmental approvals and community liaison. He is passionate about being part of the transition in large-scale energy generation.
Since graduating from Macquarie University in Sydney in 2003 Matthew has worked all over Australia on a wide variety of development projects.
Out of the office he is happiest at home with his partner and young family, out on the road running, in the garden, or exploring the Australian bushland.
Dr Micah Bell
Senior Development Engineer
Micah joined CWP Renewables after working for 15 years in consulting focused on sustainability. From Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs), energy and resource efficiency projects, and environmental/sustainability reporting and compliance, he is driven by investigating the largest positive environmental impact. As many large energy efficiency projects evolved into renewables projects, he worked increasingly on industrial and commercial renewable solutions. In addition to his sustainability and renewables experience, his PhD investigated climate modelling and impact forecasting. Micah assists the Development team by modelling and monitoring current and prospective sites, and advises CWP Renewables Environmental Social Governance (ESG) reporting. Micah loves the outdoors, running, riding, and generally exploring. He also appreciates how good technology can simplify difficult problems (such as representing the dynamic environment), so he finds it fascinating to combine them where he can.
Environmental Technical Advisor Construction
Patric Millar has over 30 years of experience in environmental and natural resource management. He has worked across a range of projects in both the Public and Private sectors and brings that wealth of knowledge and experience to CWP. Patric holds qualifications in science, environmental engineering, spatial information systems and frontline management.
Patric is a Certified Environmental Practitioner with a passion for erosion and sediment control, drone-based data capture, GIS mapping, environmental compliance and auditing. He has prepared a wide range of on environmental management plans, impact statements and post approval plans. In his role as Environmental Technical Advisor Patric brings a wealth of practical environmental and community knowledge and experience to the company.
Since 2001 Phaedra has performed the Corporate governance, Human Resources, Administrative Management, Finance, IT and ISO compliance roles within CWP Renewables and the Wind Prospect Group of companies.
She has been with the company since its incorporation and is extremely proud of the company’s history, excited by its present and inspired for the future.
Prior to her career with CWP Renewables and its related entities she worked in risk assessment (Lender) for the Australian branch of the Bank of Scotland.
Entwined with her work life is her home life where she balances 3 sons, a small farm and a passion for sustainability.
Crudine Ridge Wind Farm
Scott (AKA – Scotty) Joined CWP Renewables in July 2018 and oversees the on-site works on the Crudine Ridge Wind Farm project as Site Manager (Construction)
He has developed his professional career in Construction Management over the last 22 years within the civil, infrastructure and energy sectors on renewable energy (Wind & Solar), Water Pipelines, Oil and Gas, LNG and Civil Engineering construction projects, both nationally and internationally (14 months in Iraq) under Alliance, Joint Venture, EPC, EPCM and Design/Build Contracts for both the Contractor and Owner
He is a driven, Construction /Site Manager, who builds and works within, high performing teams that have fulfilled all WHSEQ and Commercial targets.
Scott holds a Master of Urban Development and Sustainability Degree (Construction Management and Quantity Surveying -2010) and has completed numerous industry training and development courses covering WHSEQ, contracts law, Industrial Relations and design management.
In his own words, “ I love to surf; I spend all my off time taking my sons’ surfing and spend what spare time I have, dreaming of where we can surf next. I have just recently decided to take up two other sports: Fishing and spearfishing.”
Thomas is bringing his strong passion, to expedite the transition to a clean energy future, to work at CWP Renewables ever since he joined the company in 2017. As a member of the development team he has supported the progression of several large-scale wind and solar projects, since. The recent focus of his work is to identify, assess and secure future wind development sites in Australia. Prior to joining CWP Renewables, Thomas worked as a consultant in energy and sustainability and co-founded the start-up YourButler. He holds university degrees in Geography and Renewable Energy.

Aleksandar first joined CWPR in 2013 during the development of the largest wind project in Serbia – Čibuk 1. He oversaw the land acquisition process and acted as the company’s focal point for the local community relations. His integrity, as well as his unique social and communication skills enabled Aleksandar to establish a trusting and long-lasting relationship with various stakeholders in the community. Once the project was acquired by outside investors, Aleksandar joined their team and continued to support the project from the community engagement side until the completion of the construction. In April 2020 he rejoined CWPR as a Project developer with a focus on CSR and land acquisition process.
In his spare time, Aleksandar enjoys being in nature and he loves animals. He aspires to one day own a plot of forest and turn it into a sanctuary for birds and small animals. He is also a big fan of alternative music gigs and cartoon comedy.
Junior Project Developer
Aleksandar has started as an intern at CWP and has since been promoted to a project developer, working as part of the team focusing on the SEE region. He is engaged in all technical aspects of development and maintains relations with OEMs and external consultants. He has successfully completed EMD’s windPRO training course held in Denmark and continues improving by working on in-house wind resource and energy assessments as well as layout designing.
He holds a BA in electrical engineering from the University of Belgrade and is currently working on his master thesis on renewable energy generation and storage.
Outside of the office, you can usually find him doing something music-related, either getting back to his long-forgotten guitar playing or enjoying a jazz gig in a local bar.
Aca is one of the key players in land acquisition process, engaging his invaluable communication skills and passion for work with local communities. Aca is a long-term player in CWPR team, and prior to providing help with land acquisition, he was providing support with wide range of logistic and administration tasks, always finding a quick and easy solution to challenging tasks.
Aside from renewable energy and community engagement, his great passion are cars and motorbikes. He can compile a motorbike from scratch and his idea of pure joy is riding it down the empty roads, crossing green landscapes.
Ana joined CWP team in 2019 as an Office Manager, being responsible for Belgrade office operating smoothly, providing support to other team members in terms of meetings and travels organization, cooperating with finance and administration department, making sure the office looks representative and welcoming our guests.
She started her professional career in 2007 in one of the largest domestic banks such as Komercijalna banka. She was working in retail sector for 3 years, first as a Teller and later on as Client Relationship Officer. Over the last 10 years, she have gained significant experience working closely with General Managers of respected companies such as General Electric, MSD, Nortal and building her knowledge in administration, logistics and finance. Ana gained valuable insights while working all these years in challenging and dynamic environments, meeting many different personalities, industries and work styles.
She has completed Basic and Specialized professional studies in the field of Finance, accounting and banking at Belgrade Business School. After graduating there, she decided to pursue her real love and applied to Ethnology and Anthropology studies at the Faculty of Philosophy which she hopes to finish one day.
She enjoys reading books, taking long walks, dancing, going to the theater, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends.
Bogomila has dedicated her career to sustainability and holds a Master degree from Bocconi University, where she graduated in Green Management, Energy and Corporate Social Responsibility. Prior to CWPR she has experience as a sustainability consultant and renewable energy business development associate.
She is supporting the development Power-to-X strategy for CWPR and is also involved directly with marketing and communications strategies across the PostScriptum Group.
Outside of work, Bogomila dedicates her time to creating of culture and fostering creativity in youth, which she believes is the cornerstone for sustainable development. She runs a small platform for inspiration, where her passion for all things creative, combined with her deep connection with nature, brings about a truly engaging dialogue with her audience.
Denitsa started her career at KPMG Bulgaria’s Audit & Assurance practice after graduating with a BA in Business Administration from the American University in Bulgaria. This helped her build a solid foundation in financial reporting and compliance. Her move to CWP Renewables in the role of Financial Controller was driven by her desire to grow professionally knowing that her work contributes to the well-being of society. The department she is part of deals primarily with financial and management reporting, as well as supporting the management with any ad-hoc tasks. She describes herself as a positive and open-minded person, always willing to lend a helping hand. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading books and playing racket sports.
As part of the CWP team, Denitza does research and analysis related to wind, solar, storage and power to molecules, and various technologies.
She has been with the company for almost 10 years.
Following her passion for environmental sustainability, Denitza joined as executive support for top management right after graduation. She later became involved with the development of wind and solar projects in Bulgaria as an Assistant Project Manager. Currently, she is in the development team for a new upcoming wind farm project.
Denitza has a BSc in Organic chemistry from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and an MBA with specialization in Environmental Management from New Bulgarian University.
In her spare time, she likes travelling, painting, and cooking gourmet food.
Hajar is very motivated and committed to creating blueprints to achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs). In this vein, she obtained PhD in Economics and Society (Rennes 2 University) with subject thesis related to renewable energies and sustainable development, Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration (Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Rennes) and Bachelor of Arts Equivalent in Geography and Spatial Planning.
She is also Research Associate at the Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Research in Societal Innovations (LiRIS) and Minister in charge of Energy, Mines and Environment in the Moroccan Shadow Youth Government. She has working experience in the private sector as well as with research bodies in the field of sustainable development indicators and assessment tool conception, green supply chain, triple bottom line reporting as well as renewable energy policies. She is trilingual, speaking Arabic, French and English.
During her free time, Hajar likes drawing, reading, and writing. Also, she enjoys participating in local associative work.
Project Manager for Wind Energy
Graduated from “Mircea cel Batran” Naval Academy with a BSc. In Naval Electromechanical engineering, Sailed as Ship’s Engineer for 6 years. Found a calling in Renewable energy in 2008 when I joined the PM team for the Fantanele-Cogeala-Gradina 240 MW wind farm in 2008 and never looked back.

Key achievements – Installed more than 350 Units with a total combine installed capacity of more than 850 MW over 5 projects in the last 10 years. Re joined CWP to help the development of new projects in Romania in the new Greed Deal wave.
Ivan joined CWPR in 2016 to pursue his passion for sustainability. He is supporting the development of large-scale renewable energy projects across three continents, and he is involved in growing the nascent Power-to-X industry. In addition to large-scale project development, Ivan has experience in the fields of energy policy analysis, distributed energy generation and autonomous energy systems.
An avid sailor and glider pilot, Ivan loves to harness the power of elements for both work and fun.
Prior to joining CWPR, Ivan has worked for Deutsche Bank (UK) and the Institute for Sustainable Energy Policies (Japan).
Junior Project Developer
Jelena joined CWP Renewables at the beginning of 2017 as Executive Assistant to the Chairman. After two years of covering this exciting and highly demanding role, she was promoted to be part of Project Development team in our Serbia office. Today she enjoys taking part in the development of the largest windfarm in Serbia.
Jelena has previous experience as customer relationship manager, team manager, content creator for marketing campaigns, as well as in supporting top management.
Jelena holds an MA in Italian Language and Literature from the University of Belgrade and is currently pursuing an MBA degree. She loves reading books and plans on writing them one day. A weekend spent in nature recharges her batteries for the week.
Maria joined CWPR in December 2016 as an Executive Assistant to the Director. Her role involves organizing business trips, planning/coordination of corporate events and managing administrative procedures. Her past experience includes 4+ years of Executive Leadership Support and events planning. Maria is a member of the Global PA Association and Training Academy. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Relations at Sofia University.
In her spare time, Maria enjoys studying contemporary dance techniques, reading a nice book, or roller skating.
Marko joined CWPR in 2020 as a financial analyst. Prior to that, he completed his undergraduate studies at the Union University in Belgrade (Banking and Finance, Belgrade Banking Academy), and at the University of Belgrade (Theoretical and Experimental Physics, Faculty of Physics). After that, he studied at Judge Business School (University of Cambridge, MPhil in Finance), for which he received a full scholarship from Pexim Foundation, in cooperation with CWPR. He is interested in optimization and modelling, and in everything that is quantitative in nature. In his free time, he likes to play the guitar, watch movies and read books (on zoology lately).
Maya is in the wind energy business 15 years for now, as previous employee was one of the biggest wind met mast suppliers in the CEE region. She has been part also of the development team, developing several small projects in Bulgaria and currently in CWP she is a part of the development team, for the development of several large-scale wind projects in Bulgaria.
She has graduated as Civil Works Engineer in the University of Architecture, Civil engineering, and Geodesy and 2015 have graduated an MBA from Sheffield University.
When she is not fully focused on work projects, she usually spends her time arguing with a teenager and trying to get her out to do skiing, riding a bike, or hiking in the mountains. She has got paraglided and love it, but currently has no time to learn flying on her own, so it is in the graph: to find the time!
She loves to travel and meet different interesting people.
Junior Accountant and Personal Assistant to Chairman
Milica has joined to CWP in 2012 as the Office Manager Assistant but was soon promoted to the position of Executive Assistant to the CEO. As expected, that turned out to be a very challenging and interesting job. The position entitles organizing large corporate events across the world and dealing with the very complex travel itinerary of a serious businessman who is on an airplane almost every day.
Since 2017, Milica is a proud member of our accounting and finance department. In this position, she gained a much better understanding of the financial sphere and a chance to cooperate with a large number of suppliers, banks, contractors and in-house employees.
Milica holds a MA in Italian Language and Literature from the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade, Serbia. Once upon a time, she was a huge theatre lover and today she enjoys in performing puppet shows with her toddler.
Momchil began his career as an assurance analyst at EY (Ernst & Young). After that he joined a Dutch hedge fund where he gained experience in equity trading encompassing various industries, top-down, bottom-up, quantitative and fundamental research, along with algorithmic trading strategy development. He was passionate to continue his career in value creation and environmental impact industries, thus after 2 years as an equity trader he joined CWPR.
Since joining CWPR in 2017, Momchil has focused his efforts on financial analysis of various wind, solar and storage projects. He is also involved in the research and economic analysis of various technologies related to the power to molecules sector (PtX).
Prior to working life, Momchil completed a master’s degree at Rotterdam School of Management and a bachelor’s degree at Bocconi University Milan. Outside CWPR you will find Momchil in the park having a walk or learning how to play the guitar.
Nikola has joined CWP Serbia in Jan 2019 as a Deputy Director of project development. He overlooks development of new projects in the region, manages team on day to day operations, and keeps regular communication with all relevant government, business and social stakeholders. He is also part of business development group that is actively assessing and searching for new projects and opportunities in the region.
Nikola’s background and experience are truly unique one. After working for four years as a consultant within the PwC advisory group, Nikola spent next 15 years working in entertainment industry, co-creating and managing internationally recognized live events and businesses across three continents. His broad background involves strong work ethics and commitment to business objectives. He is a proactive manager and team player who helps the company grow through a combination of creativity and strong and intuitive leadership. He also holds an MBA from IESE Business School.
As an ex pro football player, outside the work, Nikola enjoys playing sports and being in nature, reading, and occasionally clubbing and going to festivals. Above all, he enjoys spending time with his little boy and girl.
Nouri is an Aerospace Engineer graduate of Parks College of St Louis University (USA) and holds an MBA from the Nottingham Trent University (UK), with close to 30 years of experience in various business industries, of which 20 years spent in general management.
Besides aero engineering (work on the MD-11 and MD-12 at McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach and on the L-59 at the Czech Aero Research & Testing Institute), Nouri’s field of expertise is in FMCG both in food and non-food, responsible for the Africa, Middle East and Indian regions at Outboard Marine Corporation, and CEO/Deputy CEO of the Klas Group/United Bakeries, as well as in automotive production & steel processing, as Managing Director of Worthington Industries cylinders division in the Czech Republic.
After some short-term consultancy work within the last 10 years, Nouri has joined the great global CWPR Team in late 2019 and is now overseeing the development of some very exciting PtX projects on the African continent.
Other than his work, his personal interests range from aviation, powerboating, cosmology, international politics, to simply skiing some slopes in his favorite Austria, playing tennis, chess or the violin at home.

Teodora has joined the team in the beginning of 2019 taking the role of an Office Coordinator.
She has studied Public Relations and careerwise gained 7 years of administrative experience.
After a few years as an administrative specialist, she felt passionate to find a place with a greater sense of purpose thus she aligned with the company’s vision, goals and team values. She found her place and she was happy to fill the position of an Office Coordinator. Her role consists of providing essential administrative support to all departments as well as organizing business trips and coordinating events.

Head of Finance and Administration

Tijana entered the Company as a financial analyst, steadily growing to serve as Head of Finance for several years. Prior to joining the Company, she worked as an auditor in pwc, studied economics and business in Universities of Belgrade and Vienna and obtained an MPhil degree in Innovation, Strategy and Organization from the University of Cambridge.
In recent years she worked in parallel as a Director of PEXIM Foundation – non profit organization, collaborating with University of Cambridge with the aim of helping young people develop their academic interest and shape economic, social and legal landscape of Serbia and Macedonia.
“On the intersect of these two dynamic positions, I learned that the greatest investment is always the one in people, and the greatest reward are, again, the people. I was also able to witness profound change that can be made in the society and local communities through focused efforts.” Fascinated by these insights, she decided to make a turn in her career, and to give her contribution through working in the area of CSR and HR.
Aside from work, she is leading Play Space – a series of art / craft workshops aimed for adults who wish to nurture and explore their creativity and talents outside of work hours. She also enjoys dancing, playing guitar, painting, every type of outdoor adventures, nature, plants, books, art, design and life in general.
Throughout her career development, Veronika has always been attracted to socially responsible companies – she spent 3 years as a Management Accountant at Bulgarian Helsinki Committee, the largest NGO for the protection of human rights in Bulgaria. She then pursued a MSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Bath (UK), which led to her move to the Audit & Assurance practice of KPMG Bulgaria. Her desire to follow a meaningful career path dictated her move to CWPR as a Financial Controller. The team’s motivation to make the world a better place aligned with her values and was key to her transition. The department she is part of deals primarily with financial and management reporting, as well as supporting the management with any ad-hoc tasks. She regards herself as a driven and outgoing person, always up for a challenge. She is a rally & rallycross enthusiast and she enjoys traveling, gourmet food & cooking, swimming, and arts & crafts.
Senior Financial Analyst
Veselin joined CWP Renewables in 2015, having previously worked for a boutique M&A/Private equity fund in London, UK. His position is a Senior Financial Analyst and the day-to-day work is creating financial models to assess the economics of the various projects of the company. He has also been engaged in various steps of the projects’ financial life, including PPA negotiations, financing terms and OEM negotiations, amongst other. Veselin’s time outside work is almost fully occupied by his young children, but he also manages to find time to play basketball and hike.
Zoran is an enthusiastic accountant with more than eight years of experience in Finance department.
Zoran joined CWP in 2010 as Office Manager and gradually build his knowledge and experience in the filed of corporate administration and finance. From 2012 he is responsible for administrative work related to the company’s internal needs and for successful relations with suppliers, contractors and clients. Beside this, Zoran is maintaining relations with banks, state authorities and internal auditors. He has a proven ability to ensure that day to day work is carried out in line with the agreed policies and quality standards.
In his free time Zoran loves to hike in nature, play basketball, and spend time with his family and friends.
